Children in peace

Status: Aplication process open

Eruptions, whispers, cries, and celebrations, these are the rhythms of human emotion, and this is Flamenco. More than a dance, it is a force that transforms pain into poetry and struggle into strength. At UnitedWeDance, we honour this fire through our art, channelling its spirit to uplift those who need it most. Just as Flamenco gives voice to deep emotions, we believe passion can create change.

That’s why we invite NGOs supporting children of war and underprivileged communities to join us in turning hardship into opportunity. Together, we can help them harness their inner fire, not just to endure, but to build a future filled with creativity, strength, and hope.

Impact Story Research

This impact story began with research into the experiences of children affected by conflict, inequality, and limited access to education and well-being. Guided by the SDGs, Good Health and Well-Being (3), Quality Education (4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (8), Reduced Inequalities (10), and Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions (16), we explored how creativity can support healing, empowerment, and inclusion.

Concept Art Implementation

In this project, we reversed our usual process by first creating the Flamenco artwork to fund an upcoming NGO visit. During this visit, we'll co-create a new piece with the community, expanding the Children in Peace series, with Flamenco as its pioneer.

The Flamenco artwork embodies the dance's intense passion and emotional depth. Vibrant reds and bold strokes reflect its rhythmic power, while the dancer's movements convey both strength and vulnerability. As the inaugural piece of this impact story, it symbolizes resilience and transformation, core themes of our initiative to support children affected by conflict.

Art Exhibit & Engagement

The very first exhibit of this Flamenco artwork took place at the Imaging Innovations Art Gallery, University of Bradford.

We welcome partnerships that elevate the message and artistic value of this project. If you are an art curator, gallery manager, collector, or represent an institution interested in exhibiting this piece, we’d love to hear from you. UnitedWeDance is open to collaboration opportunities that align with our mission of transforming stories into impact through art.
