Future of Havana

Status: Aplication process open

In Cuba’s streets, where music flows like lifeblood, the Cha-Cha pulses with joy, resilience, and community. From Havana’s parties to small-town gatherings, it unites people through rhythm and celebration. At UnitedWeDance, we believe this same energy can spark change.

We invite NGOs supporting Cuba’s people and culture to apply for funding, preserving its heritage and creating new opportunities. Just as the Cha-Cha moves hearts, it can move us all to ensure Cuba’s traditions and spirit thrive. Through art, action, and dance, we help shape a future where Cuba’s heartbeat never fades.

Research of the impact story
ChaCha is a cultural heartbeat, a rhythm deeply rooted in Cuba’s identity. Born in Havana’s dance halls, it symbolizes joy, resilience, and unity. In communities facing hardship, music and dance offer strength, preserving heritage and bringing people together. This project explores how the spirit of ChaCha can create real opportunities, ensuring Cuba’s traditions thrive for generations.

Concept art implementation

The essence of Cha Cha Cha comes to life on the canvas, capturing its playful rhythm and effortless charm. Every brushstroke mirrors the dance’s signature steps, quick, quick, slow, translating movement into bursts of vibrant color. Swirls of red and gold reflect the flirtatious energy, while bold strokes channel the Cuban roots that gave birth to this lively style. Just like the music that drives it, the artwork is dynamic and full of life, a celebration of spontaneity, rhythm, and the joy of dance.
